Territorial Acknowledgement
I acknowledge that the land on which this garden is situated are the lands traditionally used by the Haudenosaunee, Anishinaabe, and Neutral People. I also acknowledge the enduring presence and deep traditional knowledge, laws, and philosophies of the Indigenous Peoples with whom we share this land today. We are all treaty people with a responsibility to honour all our relations.
The wording of this acknowledgement comes from Waterloo Region District School Board. I confess that I do not know exactly what it means, specifically the final sentence. Over the next few months/years I will endeavour to educate myself better.

Note: this list is not to show off about how clever I am but a reminder for myself to keep track of things that I have read or have been recommended by people or books as I read them. At time of writing this note (Aug 17 2021) nobody but me reads this blog so it is functioning as a private diary or notebook. This page will be added to regularly as my education continues. Green text denotes when I finished reading or watching a source
